The manufacture of a "Quality Product" is the solid foundation on which the company has been established. ISO 9000 and AS 9100 and the procedures by which the company demonstrates our ability to provide a quality service. C2's formal commitment to SC21 (21st Century Supply Chain) demonstartes our drive for improvement in quality, performance, relationships and innovation to stay best in class.

The Directors, Managers and Workforce of C2 fully endorse and support the procedures contained in our quality manual to allow the company to grow and prosper.

Scope

The design, development and manufacture of components and structures from composite materials, including supply to the aerospace sector.

 

Policy

Everything that C2 Composites does has to achieve high performance in one way or another, therefore C2 aims to provide defect free products to its customers, on time and within budget.

C2 Composites is committed to maintaining a Quality Management System (QMS) that complies with, and is accredited to AS9100 and BS EN ISO 9001, is pertinent to the composites industry and has furthermore been developed to allow for the full integration of in-house and agreed customer specific requirements.

The QMS facilitates the review of objectives, policy suitability and provides mechanisms to enable the organisation to embrace the principles of continuous improvement

Supply Chain 21st Century (SC21)

Through-Life solutions: total through-life cost is of paramount importance to our customers. We will involve all functions of the supply chain for example procurement, engineering and finance, throughout the project, product or service life cycle. Transparency will be encouraged, with more planning forecast data made available using bid conferences, project conferences and other means of communication

Leadership: we will encourage colleagues in the industry, including our customers and suppliers, to join SC21 as signatures and active members.

Ethical practice: we will ensure that all business is conducted in a principled manor, with the highest degree of personal and business integrity.

Increase the pace of change: our rate of change and improvement will be at an accelerated pace. Signatures will work together to harmonise how supply chains are developed, how accreditation occurs, how performance is measured and how relationships are improved.

Efficiency and Improvement

C2 embraces the concept and methodology of 5S (Sort, Simplify, Sweep, Standardise & Self discipline).

This is a process and method for creating and maintaining an organised, clean, high-performance workplace, and is the foundation for lean production and continuous improvement.
